ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Clerk of the Illinois Supreme Court seeks a highly motivated individual for the reviewing and issuance of certificates of admission; assisting with the filing of judicial financial disclosures statements for the Illinois judiciary; scanning of court documents; and organization of special judicial events. Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage multiple priorities is required. Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Individual must be motivated, detail-oriented and possess excellent word processing skills. Possess strong interpersonal skills; ability to multitask, meet deadlines; manage interruptions, work independently, and maintain confidential information. Skill in the use of a computer keyboard to access and enter data into the case management system. Must possess excellent written/verbal communication, comprehension and organizational skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

A minimum of three years of work experience in an office environment, preferably a legal setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. An associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
