Illinois Judges Receive Recognition and Awards

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

  • 2nd Judicial Circuit Associate Judge Mark Stanley was honored on March 29, 2019, as the recipient of the Champion of Children award by the Franklin County CASA at the 2019 Voice of the Child Spring Event held in Benton. The award was given to Judge Stanley for his outstanding service and dedication to the children of Franklin County.
  • Cook County Circuit Debra Walker was honored on April 11, 2019, as the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Illinois College of Law at the College of Law’s Annual Dinner. The Distinguished Alumni Award reflects the recipient's professional achievements and leadership in their communities.
  • 16th Circuit Judge John G. Dalton will be honored on May 4, 2019, at the All Things Chocolate Gala by the Open Door Clinic for his lifetime of work for equality and civil rights advocacy.
