Illinois Judges Receive Recognition and Awards

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

  • Illinois Supreme Court Justice Mary Jane Theis will be honored on December 6, 2019, as the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Service to Law & Society Award by the Fellows of the Illinois Bar Foundation at their 2019 Fellows Breakfast in Rosemont. The award is in recognition of Justice Theis' contributions to the legal community and dedication to the mission of the Illinois Bar Foundation.
  • Second District Appellate Court Justice Kathryn Zenoff was honored on November 19, 2019, as the recipient of the Lawrence Goodman Friend of the Field Award by the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health at the Rosecrance Ware Center in Rockford. The award is in recognition of Justice Zenoff's deep commitment to behavioral healthcare reform in the courts.

 

  • 14th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Patricia A. Senneff of Whiteside County was honored on October 25, 2019, as the recipient of the 2019 Self Help Enterprises Parents Award by Self Help Enterprises, a non-profit organization which provide rehabilitative programs and employment services to aid individuals with various disabilities. The award is in recognition of Judge Seneff's continued support and dedication through involvement with the parents program.
