Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• First District Appellate Court Justice Debra Walker will be honored on June 1, 2023, by the Illinois Defense Counsel as the recipient of the Law Distinguished Service Award at their Judicial Reception in Chicago in “appreciation & recognition of her outstanding, devoted service to the citizens of Illinois”.
  
• First District Appellate Court Justice Jesse G. Reyes and Cook County Circuit Judge Anna H. Demacopoulos will be honored on June 15, 2023, by the Hellenic Bar Association for Judge’s Night at the National Hellenic Museum. Justice Reyes will be the recipient of the Socrates Dikastes Award and Judge Demacopoulos will be the recipient of theTrailblazer Award.
