St. Clair County receives Technology Modernization Grant from Supreme Court

Chief Judge Andrew J. Gleeson is pleased to announce that the Twentieth Judicial Circuit has been awarded a Technology Modernization Grant from the Illinois Supreme Court and the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts in the amount of $74,699.91. This grant will be utilized to upgrade the computer systems of the Judicial Department of St. Clair County.

Chief Judge Andrew J. Gleeson said he is grateful for the untiring efforts of his staff, especially Assistant Trial Court Administrator and Technology Supervisor Maggie Smith and Trial Court Administrator Mary Berneking. "Their professional and dogged approach to executing these grant applications has greatly benefited the courts and court operations of St. Clair County," said Gleeson.

Maggie Smith was equally upbeat about the grant. "This grant will provide updated technology needs for multiple areas of the court system in St. Clair County, and is vital in assisting us with going into the future of court technology." Smith said. "It will help us serve the public better."
