Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• Cook County Judges Hon. Patrice M. Ball-Reed, Hon. Clarence L. Burch, and Hon. Preston Jones, Jr., will be honored on February 23, 2023, by the Chicago Bar Association as honorees for the Earl B. Dickerson Award at the Dickerson Award Luncheon. The Chicago Bar Association established the Dickerson Award to recognize and honor minority lawyers and judges whose careers at the bar emulate the courage and dedication of Dickerson in making the law the key to justice for all in our society.
