Illinois Supreme Court Justice Lisa Holder White gave a presentation on July 20 to the Kiwanis Club of Springfield-Downtown about the Supreme Court of Illinois. In part, she spoke on the different levels of the Illinois Judicial System, the makeup of Illinois’ Judicial Districts following redistricting, and court operations including judicial and administrative duties.

On August 10, the Illinois Judicial Council awarded Justice Holder White the Charles E. Freeman Pioneer in Justice Award. Also at the event, the IJC named its award of merit the "P. Scott Neville, Jr. Meritorious Award" in honor of his tireless pursuit of justice and his contributions to our community.
