Illinois Judges Receive Recognition and Awards

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

  • Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth M. Rochford, Cook County Circuit Judge Megan Goldish, and Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism Executive Director Erika Harold were honored on January 22, 2026, by the Diversity Scholarship Foundation, NFP, at the 2026 Annual Unity Gala. Justice Rochford was the recipient of the Unity Award, which recognizes leaders who exemplify integrity, service, and a deep commitment to bringing the legal community together. Judge Goldish was the recipient of the Laura Liu Access to Justice Award, which honors individuals who are committed to expanding access to justice and advancing a more fair, equal, and transparent legal system. Director Harold was the recipient of the Advocate for Diversity Award, which honors leadership and dedication to advancing diversity, equity, and professionalism in the legal community.
