Statewide E-Filing

Montgomery County Circuit Court was approved to implement an electronic filing program for civil case types on June 13, 2013, and for criminal case types, including citations, on July 21, 2015.

Electronic Guilty Pleas

On September 25, 2012, Montgomery County was approved to begin electronic guilty pleas from offenders in minor traffic and conservation offenses under  Supreme Court Rule 529, and in accordance with Supreme Court Order M.R. 18368 and the revised Standards for Accepting Electronic Pleas of Guilty.

E-Citation Program

On July 17, 2015, Montgomery County was approved by the Conference of Chief Circuit Judges to operate an e-Citation program.

Electronic Record (E-Record)

On November 5, 2014, Montgomery County was approved to designate the electronic record as the official record for civil cases in Montgomery County Circuit Court, in accordance with the  Standards.
