Illinois Judges Receive Recognition and Awards

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• First District Appellate Judge Mary Ellen Coghlan and Cook County Circuit Judges Anna Helen Demacopoulos, Chris Lawler, and Rena Van Tine will all be honored on March 5, 2021, with the Hon. Mary Heftel Hooton Award by the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois at their 22nd Annual Judicial Reception. The Mary Heftel Hooton Award honors those who advance the cause of women lawyers.
