The Committee on Judicial Education is asking judges to mark their calendars for a live one-hour webinar on Tuesday, December 19, beginning at 12:15 p.m. The webinar will offer judges an opportunity to learn and ask about the Illinois Bail Reform Act which is scheduled to enter into effect on January 1, 2018.
During the webinar, a select panel of judges from across the State will explain the changes required by the act, attempt to clarify some of the law’s ambiguities, and answer questions judges may have about implementation and operating under the new rules.
Please watch for a registration e-mail from the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts that will allow interested judges to sign-up for the webinar and submit questions in advance.
