Jeanne Marie Wrenn appointed to Cook County Eighth Subcircuit Vacancy

The Illinois Supreme Court has appointed Jeanne Marie Wrenn as a Circuit Judge of the Eighth Subcircuit of Cook County to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Circuit Judge John J. Fleming. The appointment is effective Feb 7, 2018 and goes through December 7, 2020.

Ms. Wrenn has been the Senior Director, General Counsel & Ethics Officer for the National Safety Council since 2015, and was previously the Ethics & EEO Officer for Pace, the suburban bus division of the Regional Transportation Authority. Ms. Wrenn served from 2003 to 2012 as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

Ms. Wrenn is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Women's Bar Association of America.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago and her juris doctor from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
