Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• 19th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Reginald Mathews was honored on September 8, 2018, as the recipient of the 2018 Sapphire Award as a Trailblazer in Lake County by the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

• Cook County Circuit Court Judge Thomas R. Mulroy was honored on September 13, 2018, as the recipient of the Sanford Blustin Award by the North Suburban Bar Association.

• Supreme Court Justice P. Scott Neville, Jr., First District Appellate Court Justice Jesse Reyes, and First District Appellate Court Justice Mary K. Rochford will be honorees on September 27, 2018, at the Justice John Paul Stevens Award Luncheon, hosted by the Chicago Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Foundation.
