Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:
- Cook County Circuit Court Chief Judge Charles S. Beach II was honored on May 14, 2026, as the recipient of the 2026 Award of Excellence by the Justinian Society of Lawyers at their Annual Installation & Awards Dinner in Chicago.
- Cook County Circuit Court Associate Judge Scott Tzinberg was honored on June 18, 2026, as the recipient of the Court of Honor award by Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS). The Court of Honor award recognizes Judge Tzinberg's compassion and commitment to self represented litigants and his dedication to making the court system accessible to all.
