Kane County held an Upstream mapping event under the leadership of Judge Kathryn Karayannis and Judge Sandra Parga, with support from the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts' Court Improvement Program. Facilitated by the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), Upstream brings together courts, behavioral health systems, child welfare agencies, juvenile probation, schools, and community organizations all united by a shared commitment to ensure families get the support they need before crisis strikes. This milestone marks the 50th Upstream event facilitated by NCSC in several states across the county.
