Illinois judges receive recognition and awards | State of Illinois Office of the Illinois Courts

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• 20^th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Heinz Rudolf and Third Judicial Circuit Associate Judge Veronica Armouti will be honored on January 8, 2026, by the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) as recipients of their inaugural Illinois Region Legal Leaders Awards at The Regency in O’Fallon. Judge Rudolf will receive the Justice Award for exceptional commitment to justice and public service and Judge Armouti will receive the Advocate Award for excellence in legal advocacy, particularly in rural or downstate Illinois.
