Illinois judges receive recognition and awards | State of Illinois Office of the Illinois Courts

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• St. Clair County Circuit Judge Heinz Rudolf was honored this month as the recipient of the Richard A. Hudlin Award at the Law Day Ceremonies. Established in honor of the career of the late Judge Richard A. Hudlin, IV, the first African-American judge in southern Illinois, the Hudlin Award is awarded to an attorney who most reflects the commitment to service and charity to the people of St. Clair County and epitomizes the best aspects of the legal community in its relationship to the community.
