Marcia M. Meis, Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, announced that the Third Judicial Circuit judges voted to select John P. Hackett as an associate judge of the Third Judicial Circuit.

Mr. Hackett received his undergraduate degree in 2012 from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, and his Juris Doctor in 2017 from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Hackett is currently affiliated with Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard and Smith in Edwardsville, Illinois.
