Illinois Judges Receive Recognition and Awards - April 23, 2024 | State of Illinois Office of the Illinois Courts

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• First District Appellate Justice Jesse G. Reyes was honored on April 5, 2024, by the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Law Latinx Student Association as the recipient of their Alumni of the Year Award at their annual Fiesta event in Chicago. The award recognizes a UIC Law alumnus who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in their chosen field or specialty – be it judiciary, public service or interest, the business community, or the legal profession.
