Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:
- Illinois Supreme Court Justice Rita B. Garman was honored on April 7, 2022, by Land of Lincoln Legal Aid as the recipient of the Lois Wood Lifetime Achievement Award at their 50th Anniversary Eastern Regional Celebration in Champaign.
- 20th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Andrew J. Gleeson and Circuit Judge Richard Brown were honored on March 31, 2022, by the Illinois Defense Counsel as recipients of the Distinguished Service Award at the St. Clair Country Club in Belleville for their “outstanding and devoted service to the citizens of Illinois”.
