Illinois Judges Receive Recognition and Awards - August 24, 2021 | State of Illinois Office of the Illinois Courts

Illinois judges are increasingly being recognized for their dedicated work in courtrooms throughout the state. Here are some of the recent honors received by Illinois judges:

• Fifth District Appellate Justice Judy Cates was selected last month as one of the honorees of the Top 50 Women in Law Awards by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer Magazine. Honorees are chosen for their work to mentor and promote other women in the profession, their success in the legal community and being a shining example of leadership.
• 14^th Judicial Circuit Judge Trish Senoff was recently honored as a 2021 inductee into the Newman Central Catholic High School Academic Hall of Fame in Sterling, Illinois.
