Child Waiting Room
The Children's Waiting Room is located in the Lower Level of the Kane County Judicial Center. It is a secure area staffed by professional child care workers, and freely open M–Th 8:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. and Friday 8:15 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Children's Waiting Room accepts children from infant to age 12 whose parents have court business in the Kane County Judicial Center.

The Kane County Law Library & Self Help Legal Center is located on the 2nd floor. The law library is staffed by two librarians and a library para-professional, and hosts an Illinois Justice Corps Fellow. You may reach the library by phone, chat, email, or dropping by M, T, Th, F 8:30am-4:30pm, W 8:30am-7:00pm.
