ESSENTIAL DUTIES: A Supreme Court Research Attorney prepares memoranda for the justices of the Illinois Supreme Court on currently docketed cases, petitions for leave to appeal, and motions submitted to the Court throughout the year. The position is in Springfield.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association is required. Candidate must have outstanding writing and research skills and possess solid academic credentials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for extended time periods. Professional office working environment requiring telephone usage and the ability to process written documents.
